The Well Regarded Education Programs at Fordham University

The prestigious university has three campuses throughout the New York metro area. The university also has extension offices located in the United Kingdom, Spain, and South Africa. Fordham University has programs that give students the opportunity to obtain their Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. The University offers programs for a variety of master’s and doctoral degrees. Originally the school’s name was St. John’s College but later changed to Fordham University in 1907.

The opportunity to receive a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University is available to those who are able to complete all the necessary requirements. The prestigious program has had success since 1916. It is a nationally ranked program that harbors unique and effective instructional methods. The department has three areas of concentration. One concentration is classified as clinical, where graduates become qualified to provide social services in the community.   Another concentration is leadership in macro practice, where graduates will be prepared for management in social service programs and lastly, Research is a concentration for graduates who wish to grow and learn research skills. Thea Jandzio graduated from Fordham University with a Masters in Social Work and is currently an Executive Manager with New York City’s largest nonprofit, The Jewish Board, Inc.
